Lead Gastroenterology and Critical Care Dietitian

A Vacancy at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.

An opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian to work as part of a team delivering specialist nutritional support to gastroenterology and critical care patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Specialist clinical skills, a professional attitude along with excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this post.

You will be part of a small team of registered dietitians, dietetic assistants and secretarial support staff based at the QEH.

Gastroenterology and critical care nutrition support experience is essential, but there will be an opportunity for training and development following successful recruitment to the post.

This is a fixed term post until 1st April 2027.

  • Working with support of service lead to provide a dietetic service to patients on critical care
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient specialist dietetic support to patients with gastroenterology conditions.
  • Support wider acute dietetic team in management of nutrition support patients including those requiring artificial enteral nutrition support i. e. NG/NJ feeding.
