Are you passionate about innovation, addressing inequalities and using insight and evidence to improve health and care outcomes for our south London population? The Health Innovation Network (HIN) South London is looking for an experienced data analyst to lead a small team of analysts within our Insights team. You will have experience of data analytics to support both insights and evaluation projects. The team works to support internally and externally commissioned projects. The role also includes supporting with bids and proposals for fee for service projects.
The post holder will lead the development and delivery of HIN South London’s data analytics service and support the organisation’s evaluation function. Working across a varied portfolio of insight, evaluation and transformation projects, they will provide expert leadership in data analytics, quantitative analysis and data visualisation to support evidence-based decision making. The role will manage and develop a team of analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality analysis, reporting and evaluation across HIN programmes and externally commissioned projects.
Responsibilities include driving innovation in data collection, management, analysis and visualisation, including the development of dashboards and reporting tools that generate insights. The post holder will advise programme teams, senior leaders and external partners on data interpretation, oversee access to and governance of multiple data sources, and ensure compliance with information governance and data quality standards. They will support the design and delivery of evaluations demonstrating the impact of innovation and improvement initiatives, build effective relationships across health and social care sectors, and contribute to business development through bids and consultancy proposals requiring analytical expertise.
This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into insights, lead multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate the value of innovation across health and care systems.
