Castleton Farm is looking for reliable, hardworking and detail-focused people to join our busy soft fruit packhouse team.
The main role will involve working on the scales, weighing soft fruit packs to make sure they meet the correct weight and quality standards.
You may also be asked to support other packhouse duties when required, including packing, checking fruit quality, labelling, loading lines, crate packing, or helping production teams.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the role, working hours and overtime requirements.
Applicants must also have the right to work in the UK, have their own accommodation, and be able to reliably commute to Castleton Farm.
Please note that accommodation is not provided for this role.
This is a seasonal position, with an expected start date in approximately two weeks.
The role is expected to last for around 8 weeks, with the possibility of an extension depending on seasonal requirements and business needs.
Starting pay: You will be paid a minimum hourly rate of £12.71 per hour, with overtime payable at £19.07 per hour after 8 hours worked on any day or after 48 hours worked in the week.
Contract: Seasonal – expected to start in approximately two weeks and last around 8 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on the season.
