You'll be joining a major UK contractor delivering essential electrical works within a secure government facility in the Lancaster area. The team is well‑established on site, with a strong pipeline of ongoing upgrades, maintenance, and noncompliance projects. This is a fast‑moving environment where professionalism, reliability, and technical expertise are valued.
As the Electrical Supervisor, you'll oversee day‑to‑day electrical operations across the site, managing trades, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all works meet regulatory and safety standards. You'll handle permits, RAMS, inspections, and liaise closely with site management and security teams. The role requires someone who can hit the ground running and maintain high standards in a sensitive, operational setting.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Gold ECS and SSSTS/SMSTS
- Strong background in supervising electrical works on commercial or public‑sector projects
- Experience in controlled or secure environments is highly advantageous
- Ability to pass enhanced vetting
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Immediate availability
- Willingness to work inside IR35 via umbrella PAYE
