Duties as KS2 Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one and small-group basis
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  • Supervising pupils during lunchtime and promoting safe, positive play
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience working with primary-aged children
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
