An exciting opportunity has become available to train as an Advanced Care Practitioner within the specialist fertility nursing team based at the Hewitt Fertility Centre in Knutsford.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative nurse who has a passion for fertility services and ensuring we provide people, couple and families with the very best chance of a successful pregnancy.
You will complete the Advanced Clinical Practice Masters course at a chosen HEI over a 2-3 year period (dependent on chosen course).

- Job Summary
- Work as a clinical expert and role model and provide practice development and leadership in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Use expert knowledge to investigate and manage patients referred for specialist fertility treatment
- Ensure that all interventions are based on scientific rationale, evidence based standards of care and current best practice guidelines and pathways.
- Demonstrate highly developed and advanced specialist knowledge and skills through innovative practice providing increased levels of autonomy.
- Support the Matron and wider members of the Divisional Management team in achieving the strategic objectives for the Care Group and the Trust.
- It is expected that the individual will work as a clinical expert and role model and provide practice development and leadership in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- They will act as a Specialist Fertility Nurse Practitioner
- The post holder maybe required to work within any of the satellite or transport centres as required.
- Provide autonomous Nurse-Led Fertility Clinic’s, Embryo Transfers and Trans-Vaginal and/or abdominal Ultrasound Scanning.
- Ensure that all four pillars of advanced practice are covered in the work undertaken in practice.
