The Best Connection Group Ltd are recruiting for a Stock & Admin Clerk on behalf of our client, based in Knowsley.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stock control professional to join a fast-paced logistics operation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, managing goods in and returns processes, and ensuring warehouse management systems are updated accurately and efficiently.

The Role
As a Stock & Admin Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining system integrity and supporting all stock administration functions across the site.
You will investigate discrepancies, process returns, manage stock counts, and ensure all warehouse management system (WMS) procedures are followed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records and system integrity
- Receive, inspect and book in inbound stock
- Process supplier returns and customer returns
- Investigate, record and report stock discrepancies
- Carry out stock reconciliations and audit checks
- Support stock loss investigations and CCTV reviews
- Set up new product SKUs within the warehouse management system
- Process depot charges, trackers and stock reporting
- Liaise with reverse logistics teams and other distribution sites
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within stock control, inventory management or warehouse administration
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Good computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach within a fast-moving warehouse environment
This role is based within a busy warehouse operation and will involve both office-based administration and warehouse floor activities.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a logistics environment and undertaking occasional manual handling duties where required.
