As Personal Assistant to my son aged 4, who is on the Autistic Spectrum and has White Sutton Syndrome, your job will be to provide personal, domestic and social support to him.
To support my son to attend his activities including swimming and musicianship.
Support him to build friendships and links within his community and help him to develop his social interactions/opportunities whilst promoting independent life skills and supporting with travel.
Provide support, guidance and reassurance when needed to ensure safety.
Help with bedtime routine when needed and support with potty training.
We are looking for someone with an understanding or experience of supporting children with Autism and learning disabilities with excellent communication and listening – my son communicates nonverbally.
My son enjoys, music, swimming, soft play, being outdoors in adventure playgrounds and swing parks.
Movement in particular running on the treadmill, trying to jump on the trampoline, being swung around in an adult’s arms.
10 Hours per week Thursday to Sunday as required, £19.00 per hour.
Time and days are flexible can be discussed at interview.
A driver with full clean UK license essential.
PVG Scheme Membership or PVG Scheme Update required by the successful applicant.
If you are successfully hired; you will be employed directly by a Private Employer on a PAYE basis and will be entitled to all statutory rights as set out by Employment Law, such as paid holidays, statutory sick pay and pension enrolment (where eligible).
