Duties of a Vehicle Technician

  • Completing routine vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Performing MOT testing in accordance with DVSA guidelines
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
  • Assisting and guiding junior team members when required
  • Maintaining high quality and safety standards at all times
  • Ensuring all work is documented accurately and in compliance with industry regulations

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician or Partially qualified with relevant experience
  • Previous experience in a busy workshop environment
  • Ability to undertake a full range of mechanical, engine, and electrical repairs
  • MOT testing certification or willingness to complete training
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools suitable for vehicle repairs
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
