Our imaging department provides a comprehensive range of services including X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, MRI, and Mobile Imaging, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.

How you'll help us make health happen:

As an MRI Radiographer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations. Working closely with Radiologists, Imaging Assistants, Consultants, and the wider clinical team, you'll perform a variety of diagnostic examinations, contribute to service development, and help ensure an excellent experience for every patient.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the imaging journey.
  • Work across a range of imaging modalities, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, and Theatre Radiography.
  • Provide flexible support to meet service needs.
  • Participate in on-call rota.
  • Maintain compliance with HCPC standards, departmental policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety through incident reporting, risk management, and adherence to infection prevention standards.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the hospital to support an efficient imaging service.
  • Maintain accurate records and actively contribute to your continuing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent (essential).
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Xray Gen (desirable).
