Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as an Employment Business on behalf of our Clients. We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles, including Riggers, Erectors, Tele Handler & Counter Balance Fork Ops, Labourers/Mates, and Fitters Semi Skilled Mates.
Responsibilities include:
- Working on the safe removal of mechanical systems & pipe work systems.
- Handling larger items such as Turbine & Generator Units.
- Moving from workplace areas to lay down areas.
- Assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.
Also, semi-skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set. Working mainly in the Fab Shop, some workers may be asked to help out when really busy on installation work on factories/process plants.
Qualifications/Skills:
- C & G or NVQ ideally in Steel Erection or Rigging.
- Skills/Experience of safe lifting, rigging, erection of steelwork, pipework, plant.
- Rigging Lifting, Manual Handling, Working at Heights Certs, CCNSG or EMSS Safety Passport.
Hours: 0700 to 1730 or to 1900, 48 to 55+ hours Mon to Fri as required. Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required.
Term: Temp Contract 1 to 3 weeks & Contract Temp.
Pay: Temp Contract Skilled = £28+ per hr up to 60 hrs, £33+ per hr Sat depending on Skills/Quals. Fork Ops £19 to £22 per hr and Semi Skilled Mates = £17 to £19+ hr & £21 to £24 per hr Sat.
Travel Pay: Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site.
Lodge Pay: Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site.
