Search Consultancy is recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our agency team in the Kilmarnock area.

We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to support our clients across Kilmarnock on a flexible shift pattern.

Duties include
- Supporting clients to develop the skills and confidence needed to progress towards independent living.
- Completing strengths and needs assessments alongside clients to identify their goals, aspirations, and the support required to achieve them.
- Encouraging and motivating clients to engage in meaningful daytime activities, including skills development, training, volunteering, employment, and healthy lifestyle activities.
- Providing person-centred support while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Building positive relationships with clients and working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies.
To apply, you should have
- At least 6 months' paid experience in a support worker or care role.
- Excellent communication skills with tact, empathy, and sensitivity.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently manage challenging behaviour.
- A flexible approach to working shifts.
