Contribute as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver an efficient and effective Housing Asset Service to the Council’s housing stock in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives.
Requirements:
- The duties of this post require access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application.
- A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received.

Responsibilities:
- We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”.
- During your application process, you should provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer.
- The reference from your current or most recent employer must be from an appropriate senior manager and not from a former peer operating at the same level.
The Individual:
- This is a full-time permanent post and the admin base for the post is Kilmarnock Depot, Holmquarry House, Kilmarnock.
- The hours of work are 35 per week: Monday - Thursday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Friday 8.00 am to 3.00 pm.
- The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of time is office based.
- Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.
- It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
The full-time salary for the post is £35,654 - £38,675 per annum.
