We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our client's reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to develop their career within a well-established business operating across multiple centres in England. The successful individual will be working as an HGV Technician, providing high-quality service and repairs in a busy workshop environment.

Duties
- Perform all service, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards and within scheduled timeframes
- Accurately diagnose malfunctions and faults using appropriate techniques
- Complete safety inspections and document all findings thoroughly as an HGV Technician
- Assist colleagues with technical issues, supporting the team
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed by the HGV Technician
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; experienced time-served HGV Technicians with over 5 years of proven relevant experience will also be considered
- Car or LCV technicians interested in specialising as an HGV Technician are encouraged to apply; training will be provided to support this transition
- A valid HGV driving licence or IRTEC accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and excellent team collaboration skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a busy environment
- Motivated individual capable of working towards targets and delivering high standards
