KS2 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Bishop's Stortford and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging and effective learning across Key Stage 2.
Duties as KS2 Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum using the provided plans
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching approaches to support a range of learning needs
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to different year groups and school settings
- Positive, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Your salary – dependent on experience – is paid weekly through PAYE.
