Our client, a well-established family-run main dealership with over 20 years of success in the motor trade, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their dedicated aftersales team in Kettering. This is a standalone Parts Advisor role, offering genuine autonomy to take ownership of the parts department and contribute meaningfully to the dealership’s continued success.
Key responsibilities of the Parts Advisor:
- Managing retail and trade parts enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Supplying parts accurately and promptly to the workshop team
- Ordering, receiving, and maintaining optimal stock levels
- Processing invoices, warranties, and return procedures with accuracy
- Identifying sales opportunities through excellent customer service
- Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to enhance department performance
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade sector
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Well-developed organisational and IT skills
- Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently
- Ability to manage stock efficiently and handle multiple priorities effectively
