Junior Sister / Charge Nurse - CSRU | Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

A rare opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with a cardiology background to join our team in the Cardiac and Stroke Receiving Unit (CSRU) at Wycombe as a Junior charge Nurse role.

CSRU was established in 2012 as a specialist unit providing emergency care to people with cardiac and stroke symptoms.

The service offers 24hr admission, assessment and treatment for a wide range of conditions, we also offer a Monday to Friday PPCI service to the people living in the county of Buckinghamshire and a Thrombolysis/ Thrombectomy service 24/7.

Within this role the successful applicant will co-ordinate the shift, support the junior staff and provide expert knowledge where needed.

Part of their daily responsibilities will also involve working in a supportive role alongside the stroke nurses ensuring that we deliver the highest possible care to all service users.

Running and coordinating a busy 8 bed unit for the region involving stroke and cardiac working with a full multi-disciplinary approach .
