Full-time & Part-time Regular Shifts available on a Sessional Basis

Salary: £13.45 per hour

The Role

As a Housing Support Worker, you’ll support young people in their homes, helping them build routines, engage in meaningful activities, and develop to a path of independence. You’ll work closely with colleagues and external professionals to meet their social, emotional, and educational needs. This is primarily a lone-working role, supported by an experienced management team who are available 24/7.

Housing Support Worker Responsibilities:

  • Support positive outcomes with structure, boundaries and care plan goals
  • Promote routines and act as a positive role model
  • Support leisure, learning, and Independent living skills
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing, following Child and Adult Protection procedures and understand Safeguarding
  • Work in line with National Care Standards and The Promise Initiative
  • Collaborate with teams, families, and professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and follow health and safety guidelines
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, young adults and families
  • Carry out duties in line with Catch Scotland Ltd policies and procedures, SSSC Standards and Professional Code of Conduct
