This part-time role as a Home Help Support Worker is based at clients' homes in West Devon. The role is varied and may involve:
- Assisting clients with various day-to-day tasks to enable them to live independently
- Promoting independence by practicing life skills like cooking or catching public transport
- Household cleaning, decluttering, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, or running errands
- Reconnecting people with the local community by bringing them to coffee mornings or classes
- Providing companionship or respite assistance
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings
Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role allows you to work with clients on a regular basis, picking days and times which suit you to form a regular routine for the clients you support, creating meaningful impact in their lives.
We have hours waiting in Aveton Gifford (4hrs weekly), Modbury (2hrs weekly) - you pick the jobs which suit your skills and preferences on times/days/locations and job types.
