We offer a thriving Initial Teacher Education (ITE) portfolio and work closely with a large network of partner schools to provide high-quality placement and mentoring experiences for trainee teachers.
These partnerships are central to the success of our provision and play a vital role in ensuring trainees are supported to develop into confident, reflective and effective educators.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ITE Partnership and Mentoring Manager to provide strategic leadership for partnership development, placements and mentoring across our ITE provision.
Working closely with schools, mentors and University colleagues, you will lead the development, coordination and quality assurance of practice-based learning opportunities, ensuring they meet the expectations of Ofsted, the Department for Education and the University's quality standards.
The role is pivotal to the continued success of our ITE programmes.
You will foster strong relationships with partner schools, oversee the development and delivery of mentor training, support placement planning and quality assurance processes, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the trainee experience.
You will also play an important role in maintaining compliance with accreditation requirements and supporting continuous improvement across the partnership.
