Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading collection, delivery, and trunking vehicles.
- Shunting trailers around the yard in a safe and efficient manner.
- Unloading trunk vehicles for pallet networks and reloading pallets onto delivery vehicles.
- Scanning pallets in and out using handheld scanners and the warehouse management system.
- Receiving, locating, picking, and dispatching goods within the warehouse.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties, including pallet wrapping and labelling.
- Opening and closing trailer curtains as required.
- Completing a small amount of computer-based administration and system updates.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse and yard environment.
Requirements
- You must hold a current Counterbalance forklift licence.
- Previous experience in a busy transport/warehouse operation preferred.
- Accuracy and excellent organisational skills.
- Confidence to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Working to deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
