Pay up to £44,447, plus 28.97% employer pension contributions, hybrid working, flexible hours, and great work-life balance.

We are looking for a Digital Engagement Manager to join the Digital and Transformation Group in DWP. As part of the UK's largest government department, you'll help shape and deliver communications that support over 8,000 colleagues across DTG as they transform digital services for more than 22 million customers.

As a Digital Engagement Manager, you'll:

  • Shape compelling communications, identify and share impactful stories, and deliver engagement campaigns that connect people with our vision and priorities.
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders to turn complex information into clear, accessible and actionable communications.
  • Create innovative content across a range of channels including intranet platforms, newsletters, emails, presentations, infographics and video.
  • Use insight, evidence and colleague feedback to ensure communications are timely, relevant and effective.
  • Champion accessibility, best practice and continuous improvement in internal communications and engagement.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Experience of planning, leading, delivering and evaluating complex communications campaigns, working collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to produce clear, accessible and engaging written content, demonstrating strong drafting skills.
  • Experience in using feedback, data and user insight to inform decision making and refine campaign plans.
  • Proven proficiency in using digital tools and Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, SharePoint, Planner and related platforms.
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development and sharing best practice with others.

Location: You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of £44,447.

Pension: You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time.
