We are supporting a leading financial market organisation based in the heart of London.

This organisation is highly specialised and so their technology suite is a complex and vast one.

Your New Role

This business has a contract opportunity to support an existing team in order to support their large-scale IT functions.

In this Procurement & Vendor Management role, you will be responsible for effectively managing IT supply chain vendors to ensure that cost, risk, and quality across effective sourcing as well as vendor management.

This will involve creating and managing stakeholder relationships with the relevant technology towers in the business to understand requirements and work in partnership to drive IT projects.

You will perform relevant supplier due diligence and risk management for all procurement processes as well as then manage the ongoing performance of associated suppliers.

What you\'ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience in the sourcing process for technology software and services.

You will be able to demonstrate key negotiation outcomes as well as ongoing supplier management for large-scale complex contracts.

You will be a confident speaker in order to handle escalations associated with supply and report back on vendor performance to the business.
