We are currently seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PDI Technician to work within a busy fleet department, ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before delivery.
- Competitive basic salary with OTE of £43,000+
- Monday to Friday working, 40 hours per week

Duties of a PDI Technician
- Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
- Performing collection inspections prior to customer handover
- Conducting minor servicing and mechanical repairs as required
- Fitting accessories to vehicles when necessary as a PDI Technician
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and company standards
- Identifying and reporting any additional repair or safety issues
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements of a PDI Technician
- Ability to conduct PDIs accurately and efficiently
- Good understanding of vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and effective team working skills
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential
