We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician (Twilight) to join a reputable Accident Repair Centre located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Duties of an MET Technician:
- Conduct mechanical, electrical, trim, and body component removal and refitting
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults accurately
- Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer and insurer standards
- Work efficiently to meet repair targets and deadlines
- Perform comprehensive quality checks prior to vehicle completion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Collaborate closely with Panel and Paint Technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements of an MET Technician:
- Previous experience as an MET Technician is essential
- Qualified to NVQ, IMI, ATA, or equivalent is preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical repair knowledge
- Ability to perform efficiently within a busy bodyshop environment
- High attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
- Full UK Driving Licence required
