Would you like to join our technical team to ensure our audience members have a fantastic Theatre experience? Leading up to the successful re-opening of the Kenneth More Theatre, the theatre team are looking for a confident and passionate Senior Theatre Technician to ensure that all stage and technical requirements for every performance are met at the Kenneth More Theatre.
The role leads technical operations, including fit-ups, performances, and get-outs, with a focus on audio engineering while providing support across lighting, staging and AV systems. You will liaise and develop relationships with visiting Theatre Companies and other organisations. Responsibilities will also include overseeing the theatre programme at the Kenneth More Theatre and occasionally Redbridge Drama Centre and liaising with freelance staff and contractors on all the events.
Other responsibilities include installing and rigging stage equipment, masking, scenery and technical equipment and being a friendly and welcoming member of the Kenneth More Team. Your duties will be varied and no two days are ever the same in our vibrant and creative venues. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of the KMT at a key time as we emerge from the closure and refurbishment of the theatre in a strong position for success.
