Your new role
Working closely with colleagues and external IT support providers, you will provide day‑to‑day ICT support, ensuring users have the systems, equipment, and access required to work effectively.
Your responsibilities will include
- Providing first-line support for Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and general IT queries.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access requests within Microsoft 365.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Coordinating laptop builds, configurations, and equipment handovers for new starters and leavers.
- Supporting the setup, administration, and maintenance of mobile phones and related devices.
- Assisting with telephony systems, including user setup, extensions, voicemail, and call routing.
- Maintaining accurate records of ICT assets, equipment, and user allocations.
- Liaising with external support providers to escape and resolve technical issues.
- Supporting software updates, system improvements, and device deployments.
- What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an ICT Support, IT Support, or Service Desk role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and account management.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user access issues.
- Knowledge of new starter and leaver processes, including device setup and collection.
- Experience supporting mobile devices and telephony systems.
- Knowledge of ICT security best practice, including MFA and access management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
