If you're organised, confident with people and keen to support high-quality housing delivery, this is a great opportunity to step into a varied contract support role within a Government environment. You'll work closely with experienced leaders, help keep performance on track, and ensure queries and processes run smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the Housing Contract Manager and Deputy Housing Contract Manager with day-to-day delivery of housing contract elements
- Help ensure contractual compliance and that key performance standards are met in line with relevant schedules
- Assist with oversight of Defence Accommodation Stores (DAS) provision to Service Family Accommodation, including handling related queries and escalating concerns where appropriate
- Monitor and manage budget and stock information using spreadsheets
- Use assurance and governance approaches to support progress/performance monitoring, and help provide management information when needed
- Support responses to stage 2 complaints and lessons learned, including coordination with complaints colleagues where required
- Manage a multi-user mailbox-responding to queries promptly and professionally or raising them appropriately
- Support administration, including meeting room bookings, capturing minutes/actions, and coordinating visitor arrangements
- Help the wider Housing Delivery Services team with emergent tasks, including cover for the Deputy Housing Contract Manager when required
What you'll bring:
- Experience working in a customer service environment
- Strong communication skills, with confidence when dealing with people and stakeholders
- Solid negotiation and influencing ability, with the ability to lead through others
- Analytical mindset-able to resolve issues independently and review performance trends
- Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder groups
- Confident working with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to stay organised and adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proactive, results-oriented approach with excellent time management
- High integrity and professionalism
