You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions.
We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

- What you’ll be doing
- Ability to develop relationships with Colleagues, Clients and supply chain partners to effectively deliver works.
- To be responsible for successful delivery of highway maintenance works to time, cost and quality requirement
- Ensure H&S compliance across all works and within the depots
- To ensure client expectations of individual works are achieved.
- Able to efficiently and effectively manage the supply chain in line with the M Group Minimum standards and HS&E policies.
- To work with the Scheduler to plan and permit upcoming works and to ensure timely closing of orders.
- To ensure all tasks are carried out in line with the programme, resources and that they are executed in accordance with specifications, drawings, dimensions and within agreed commercial limits.
- To supervise both self-delivery and supply chain delivered works.
- To ensure individual works are administered in accordance with NEC Contract
- Base location is flexible and can be based in any of our 4 depots across Cambridgeshire.
- What you'll bring
- Desirable to have SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS
- Must be able to apply a thorough working knowledge of the New Roads and Street works Act.
- Demonstrate practical site skills in highway works management
- Demonstrate able knowledge of NEC Contract Administration and Commercial awareness within a civil engineering discipline.
- Good people management skills and ability to promote positive behaviours in others.
