We are looking for an experienced and caring Senior Carer to join our domiciliary care team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to service users in their own homes while supporting and guiding other members of the care team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Covering the on-call phone on a pro-rota basis
- Completing carer spot checks
- Providing ad-hoc cover within the office
- Providing personal care, medication support and practical assistance to service users.
- Supporting service users to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
- Completing care and medication records accurately.
- Acting as a senior point of contact for carers and supporting them during visits.
- Carrying out care calls and responding to any changes in service users' needs.
- Supporting new and existing carers with guidance, mentoring and good practice.
- Reporting concerns, changes in condition or safeguarding issues to the office team.
Working closely with the care coordinators and wider team to ensure safe, consistent and person-centred care.
