We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne day driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely and professional service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and logistics to contribute to a dynamic organisation. Pay is monthly at £13.00 per hour for 173.33 hours at basic (Always made) then time and a half.
Duties:
- Operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to deliver goods to various locations in a safe and compliant manner.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and customer satisfaction.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of deliveries.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
