This is a temporary opportunity supporting a visually impaired worker with a range of administrative, organisational and accessibility-focused tasks.

Pay Rate: Β£16.10 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00
Start Date: September 2026
End Date: 23 May 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing diaries and inboxes using Outlook and Microsoft 365.
- Providing tailored administrative support, including filing, handling post and note-taking.
- Supporting meetings, events, seminars and networking opportunities.
- Liaising with stakeholders on behalf of the manager where required.
- Ensuring communications and correspondence are compatible with screen reader software.
- Providing visual support in meetings and events by describing presentations, surroundings and visual content.
- Taking minutes and logging actions from meetings.
- Responding to email and telephone enquiries.
- Conducting online research.
- Arranging travel and accommodation for meetings and events.
- Providing sighted guidance when travelling around buildings and unfamiliar environments.
- Supporting with training sessions that include visual elements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear verbal information.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and Outlook diary management.
- Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
- A proactive, positive and flexible approach to work.
- Knowledge or experience of using screen reader software.
