We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer or Housing Assistant to join a busy and customer-focused housing team on a temporary contract for an initial period of 3 months, with the potential for extension.

This is an excellent opportunity to support a well-established social housing organisation and make a real difference to local communities.

  • Your new role
  • Managing a designated housing patch and providing tenancy management support
  • Dealing with tenant enquiries and resolving housing-related issues
  • Supporting allocations, voids and lettings processes
  • Assisting with rent arrears recovery and income management activities
  • Investigating anti-social behaviour complaints and tenancy breaches
  • Conducting home visits and estate management inspections
  • Maintaining accurate housing records and case notes
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service to tenants and stakeholders
  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a Housing Officer, Housing Assistant or similar housing management role
  • Knowledge of social housing legislation and best practice
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong IT skills and experience updating housing management systems
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport would be advantageous
