Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a Housing Needs team, ensuring excellent customer service and high-quality case management.
- Oversee homelessness prevention, relief and assessment activity in line with current housing legislation and best practice.
- Monitor team performance, ensuring targets, service standards and statutory responsibilities are met.
- Manage complex housing cases, complaints and escalations.
- Work collaboratively with external partners, landlords, support providers and voluntary organisations to achieve positive outcomes for customers.
- Support the delivery of services relating to the Renters Rights Act and associated enforcement responsibilities.
- Develop team capability through coaching, supervision and performance management.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of housing services.
