Join our Integrated Community Response Service as a Senior Occupational Therapist and play a vital role in helping people remain safe, independent and confident in their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

You will use your clinical expertise to support patients with complex needs, lead and develop junior staff, and contribute to service improvement across community healthcare. As a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Integrated Community Response Service, you will deliver specialist assessment and rehabilitation to adults with complex physical, functional and social needs, supporting timely recovery and helping individuals maintain independence within their home environment. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and partner organisations, you will use advanced clinical reasoning to develop and review personalised care plans, manage risk, and facilitate safe discharge and admission avoidance.

Candidates with relevant Band 5 experience, including those from mental health backgrounds who demonstrate the potential to meet the Band 6 requirements, are encouraged to apply. Appointment may be made at Band 5 on a 12-month developmental pathway, with progression to Band 6 subject to successful achievement of agreed competencies.
