An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurseto join our MINT Team on a 6-month secondment.
The team provides community mental health support to adults across the London Borough of Hounslow, supporting service users with mental health difficulties and associated physical health needs.
The role involves managing a diverse caseload, including people with long-term and enduring mental health conditions, acute presentations and new referrals requiring assessment and intervention.
You will work within a supportivemultidisciplinary teamcomprising mental health nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, employment specialists and support workers.
The team has strong links with local statutory and non-statutory services.
The post is37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday,9:00am to 5:00pm.
We are seeking a registered mental health professional with
- Significant post-registration experience working with adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
- At leastsix months’ community experienceworking with adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and best practice.
- Experience in mental health assessment, risk assessment, safety planning and medication administration
