Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 Basic dependent on experience (Paid Hourly from £13.50-15 plus enhanced rates from £17.50-19.50 for nights)

Working hours: Mon - Fri 40 hours. Days & Nights dependant on rota. Potential for Overtime

About the role

We are looking for skilled & enthusiastic Tractor Drivers with GM/ Landscape experience in the South West to carry out important work on the Highways.

You will need to have experience and be confident and qualified to drive agricultural vehicles.

You will be responsible for hedge cutting and verge trimming on main roads across the region to maintain and transform outdoor spaces.

Working as part of a team under the supervision of a Team Leader, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.

Reporting remotely to the Staverton depot, your work will cover the South West of England with specific areas of work dependent on your location.

Open to candidates with experience - if you don't have all machine experience, but do have Tractor qualifications.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Tractor Driver in grounds maintenance/ landscape/ agricultural sectors.
  • Ability to operate and manoeuvre mechanised hedge / verge cutter machinery & other equipment.
  • General Grounds Maintenance machine work e. g. robot & ride on mowers, strimmers etc. beneficial
  • Digging tickets an advantage but not a must
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential (including Categories B, F & K)
  • NPTC / LANTRA Tractor Tickets or qualified by experience & willing to undergo once in employment

CSCS card mandatory - however if not already held you must obtain prior to start and we can explain the process.
