We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive, and dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who visits our health centre. You will be responsible for:
- Greeting patients
- Organising clinic diaries
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Providing administrative support
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area
Applicants must have good organisational skills, a range of office skills and experience in working in reception/administration. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will have both face to face and telephone contact with service users on a daily basis. Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, a friendly approach and being enthusiastic are all required for this post. A knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010). In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,192 per annum pro rata.
