Set within a beautiful converted property, the home offers a genuine home-from-home environment where residents are supported with dignity, compassion, and person-centred care. The service has been thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of older adults living with dementia, featuring dementia-friendly facilities and a secure garden that encourages independence, wellbeing, and meaningful engagement.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you'll play an important leadership role during night shifts, supporting the care team, overseeing medication administration, and ensuring residents receive the highest standards of care throughout the night.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, or supervisory role within a residential care setting
- Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records
- Strong understanding of dementia care and person-centred support
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and care standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shifts
- Caring and compassionate with a resident-focused approach
