Duties as History Teacher:

  • Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal History Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong History teaching experience
  • Confident in delivering History at KS3 and KS4
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Able to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
  • Reflective, proactive, and committed to high-quality teaching
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
