Mana Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of welcoming secondary schools across Hinckley and the surrounding areas. Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, graduate considering a career in teaching, or someone with relevant experience working with young people, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience whilst enjoying the flexibility to work around your lifestyle.
The Role
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials in the teacher's absence
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally
- Encourage students to remain engaged with their learning
- Work across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Build experience in a range of local secondary schools
No planning or marking is normally required, allowing you to focus on supporting pupils and maintaining high classroom standards.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in UK schools or experience working with secondary-aged children or young people
- Confident communication and classroom management skills
- A calm, professional and reliable approach
- A genuine interest in education and helping young people succeed
- Own transport is advantageous but not essential
