A major civil engineering contractor is recruiting for a Senior Engineer to support the delivery of a significant highways infrastructure project in Milton Keynes. This is an opportunity to join the scheme at an early stage and play a key role throughout delivery.
Your new role
The Senior Engineer will be site office based and responsible for engineering management and technical support across the project. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing engineering activities across allocated works
- Reviewing and coordinating construction drawings
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and design requirements
- Supporting site teams with technical queries
- Managing setting out activities and checking procedures
- Maintaining construction records and engineering documentation
- Coordinating with design and delivery teams
- Supporting project planning and progress reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Senior Engineer or strong Section Engineer within civil engineering projects
- Highways, infrastructure or general civils experience
- Strong setting out background
- Experience managing drawings and technical documentation
- Proficient with engineering and surveying equipment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
