Rushey Mead Primary School is seeking a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our established HLTA team. This role will involve a significant amount of planned class cover, alongside collaborative work supporting teaching and learning across the school.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced practitioner who is an effective communicator, demonstrates initiative and flexibility, and enjoys working as part of a supportive and professional team.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 4 TA qualification (or equivalent)
- Be confident delivering planned cover across year groups
- Work effectively as part of a team of HLTAs, teachers and support staff
- Demonstrate high expectations for pupils’ achievement and behaviour
- Show creativity, adaptability and a positive sense of humour
- Have a secure understanding of the Early Years Framework and/or National Curriculum
- Be committed to continuous professional development and inclusive practice
