About your role:

The Higher Learning Assistant role is essential in ensuring that our Learning Assistants have the support they need to effectively assist our students. You will act as a valuable resource for day-to-day queries and contribute to the overall success of our educational programs. The Learning Support Team supports high needs students who require exam access arrangements and you will be crucial in making this happen by completing accurate and informative file notes. As the Higher Learning Assistant, you will assist the allocation of Learning Assistant timetables to ensure that our vulnerable students receive the support they need. You'll deliver direct in-class support to students, helping to reduce barriers to learning while enhancing their educational outcomes. As a key member of our Learning Support Team, you will collaborate closely with other Additional Learning Support (ALS) colleagues, teachers, and other key internal stakeholders to foster a supportive learning environment.
