Working within the Psychological Wellbeing Service, you’ll support people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties through evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping them improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

You’ll join a supportive and experienced team focused on delivering high-quality psychological therapies. This role combines direct clinical work with opportunities to contribute to service development, supervision, and continuous improvement. Your work will help people access effective treatment, make informed choices about their care, and achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.

The post-holder will work in the service for 5 days of the week as part of a hybrid working model which is a split of face to face and remote.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver high intensity CBT interventions for people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties
  • Assess referrals, manage a specialist caseload, and develop personalised treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with service users, carers, colleagues and partner organisations
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and evidence-based practice
  • Take part in supervision, training and professional development activities, including working towards full accreditation where required

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree-level qualification and successful completion of an accredited High Intensity CBT training programme
  • Provisional accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
  • Experience delivering CBT-based treatments and managing a caseload
  • Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach to care
  • A commitment to inclusion and continuous learning and collaborative working
