We have a long term temporary assignment starting from 1st September - you must be available to complete assessment (theory & driving) Wed 26th August @ 7am to start the following week.

The Best Connection are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Day Drivers for our client in Darlington, a leading kitchen production and distribution company. This role offers on going days shifts - Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Day driving work as an HGV Class 2 Driver
• Safe and timely deliveries to customers and sites
• Loading/unloading where required (flat pack kitchens) - you can have assistance of drivers mate
• Accurate completion of paperwork
• Represent both the client and The Best Connection to a high standard

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC and Digi card
• 2 years experience as a Class 2 HGV Driver
• Physically able to lift items up to 25kg
• Professional attitude and smart appearance

Hours:

• Start times from 04:00 AM
• Monday to Friday shifts ongoing

Pay Rates:

• £14.09 per hour - Monday to Friday
• £19.50 per hour - Saturday
• £26.00 per hour - Sunday and Bank Holiday
