HGV / LGV Mechanic Required in Aberdeen!

£18.80 PAYE + Rolled up Holiday + Pension

Immediate Start Available

35hrs/week

This role involves carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and plant equipment within their fleet, workshops, and depots. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work confidently across various types of plant and vehicle equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending and working on breakdowns across Aberdeen
  • Inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles, plant, and equipment to required standards
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Operating equipment safely and reporting defects to your supervisor
  • Completing digital documentation and associated paperwork
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions when required

You Should have:

  • City & Guilds Construction Plant Maintenance SVQ, or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification
  • Experience working on plant and vehicle equipment
  • A full UK driving licence with Category C
  • Digital competency and ability to work with computers.

Shifts are:

MON - THU: 0800-1630

FRI: 0800-1530

You may occasionally be working outside normal hours, this is paid at an enhanced rate.
