Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for ongoing Pallet Network Distribution work with one of our established logistics clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV Class 2 Drivers looking for regular, ongoing work delivering and collecting palletised freight through one of the UK's leading pallet networks.

Deliveries are made to commercial premises, industrial estates, warehouses, retail businesses and distribution centres, with routes planned to maximise efficiency.

Drivers will typically complete 8 to 15 deliveries and collections per shift, depending on the route.

Most loads are palletised and moved using a tail lift and electric pump truck, although many customer locations offer forklift unloading.

Start times are generally from 05:00am, with shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours, all completed in accordance with Driver's Hours Regulations and UK transport legislation.

This is an ongoing PAYE opportunity offering weekly pay, consistent work and long-term career prospects.

Responsibilities;

  • Deliver and collect palletised freight across pallet network routes
  • Complete 8 to 15 deliveries and collections per shift
  • Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
  • Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks where required
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
  • Complete delivery paperwork and PODs accurately
  • Follow Driver's Hours and Tachograph Regulations
  • Ongoing work throughout the year
  • Weekly PAYE pay
  • Holiday pay accrued Workplace pension after qualifying period
