The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics.
This is a opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.
About the Role
- Managing the delivery process to depots or ports
- Manual handling of opening and closing curtain
- Ensuring your load is safe and secure
- Completion of delivery device
- Must been 2 year experience of HGV Class 1, at least 1 year of tramping experience
- Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)
- Same vehicle provided each week.
Working Hours
- Up to 60 hours per week
- Minimum 10-12 hour shifts
- Flexible day and nights shifts are Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday, dependent on the role
Pay
- Standard rate of £14.50
- Night out rate of £25.00 tax free
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV UK Class 1 (Category C) Licence
- In-date CPC and Digi card
- Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
- Flexible availability with start times and shifts
- Willing to stay out of the road in equipped cabs up to 4 nights per week
