Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing General Haulage, RDC Distribution and Trunking work with one of our well-established logistics clients based locally. This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for flexible, ongoing work with a choice of day or night shifts.
Drivers can choose start times between 04:00 and 08:00 for day work or 15:00 and 20:00 for night work, with shifts available Monday through to Sunday. Day work typically consists of general haulage deliveries, palletised distribution and RDC deliveries, with 1 to 5 drops per shift depending on the route. Night work mainly involves Hub-to-Hub trunking, RDC and depot deliveries, with minimal manual handling. There are also opportunities for tramping work for drivers looking to work away during the week.
This is an ongoing PAYE opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay and genuine temp-to-permanent opportunities.
Pay & Progression:
- Monday to Friday Days: £17.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday Nights: £18.50 per hour
- Equivalent to £19.61, Days, £20.73 Nights and £23.53 W/end per hour with rolled-up holiday pay

Responsibilities:
- Complete general haulage, trunking and palletised distribution work
- Deliver to RDCs, NDCs, depots and commercial customers
- Complete between 1 and 5 deliveries on day routes
- Carry out Hub-to-Hub trunking on night shifts
- Complete daily vehicle and trailer safety checks
- Complete transport paperwork accurately
- Follow Driver's Hours and Tachograph Regulations
- Provide a professional level of customer service
